Our story
How it all began
We met at the Manning River on a Sunday morning in June 2022 — Laura was paddleboarding,
Hudson was attempting to kayak. He capsized. She laughed. He asked her to dinner.
Two years later, on a quiet evening in the hinterland, he got down on one knee
and asked her to marry him. She said yes before he finished the sentence.
